Non-Injury accident reported in the 11000 block of 42nd Road. A white 2011, Chevrolet passenger vehicle, driven by 26 year old Amber Emery of Wichita was exiting a private driveway in the 11000 block of 42nd Road. Emery failed to yield the right of way and struck the side of another vehicle a white 1994, Chevrolet truck driven by 23 year old Connor McCune of Douglass.
Traffic stop in the 20000 block of US 77. Arrested for Driving while under the influence, Driving on a suspended driver’s license, and transporting an open container was Gerald Thompson of Winfield. Thompson was transported and booked into the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
