July 15

A gray 1993, Ford truck driven by 18 year old Jerry Jackson of Arkansas City was driving eastbound in the 6000 block of 252nd Road and ran off of the road striking a culvert. The vehicle ended on its top. No injuries were reported.

Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 33000 block of Tower road for a burglary.

A white 2011, Ford truck driven by 38 year old Nathan Holcomb, of Winfield was traveling northbound in the 15000 block of US 77. A blue 2013, Suzuki passenger car, driven by 22 year old Abraham Redae of Wichita attempted to pass Holcomb and entered back into the northbound lane due to on-coming traffic and struck Holcomb’s vehicle. Redae was cited for passing on the left without sufficient clearance.

Individual reported that their windshield was damage due to something falling off of a truck in the 13000 block of US 160

Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Jason Nelson in the area of 100 W. Birch for driving on a suspended driver’s license. He was transported to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office Jail

July 16

Residential alarm in the 11000 block of 62nd Road. Sheriff’s Deputy checked the area and it was found to be secure

Sheriff’s Deputy met with an individual at the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office who reported a suspicious e-mail

Traffic stop in the 4000 block of K15. Sheriff’s Deputy made an arrest for driving while under the influence. Arrested was Jamie Weaver who was transported to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

Complaint of a neighbor shooting toward their house in the 4000 block of 42nd Road
