A white 2012, Ford Fusion, driven by 59 year old Scott Schaefer of Winfield was northbound in the 19000 block of US 77. A white 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 23 year old Lucas Walker of Winfield, turned left in front of Schaefer. Schaefer swerved to avoid hitting the other vehicle and ended up in a ditch.
