Three People Arrested in Connection With Township Burglaries

Three people have have been arrested in connection with an extensive investigation into burglaries that occurred in multiple Cowley County townships this spring, Sheriff Dave Falletti announced Friday.

The sheriff’s dept. spent hundreds of hours investigating, he said, and were able to connect burglaries in Bolton, Creswell and Vernon townships. Arrests were then made.

Jason Wayne Nelson, 42, Deanna Lynn Nelson, 44, and Allen Coffman, 47, all of Ark City, were booked into the county jail on multiple charges of felony burglary, felony theft and criminal damage to property.

Bond for Jason Wayne Nelson is $50,000. He was arrested Aug. 8. Deanna Nelson and Coffman are being held with bond set at $25,000. Deanna Nelson was arrested Wednesday and Coffman was arrested Tuesday.
