Louise Helena Poovey, 97, of Wellington, Kan., died Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m, Thursday, August 31, 2017 with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services for Louise will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2017 in the First Christian Church, Wellington, Kansas.
Interment will follow at the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Kansas.
A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to the First Christian Church or the Wellington Food Bank. Contributions may be mailed or left with the Cornejo Day funeral home.
