TECT Aerospace in Wellington has job openings available and also has two job fairs planned in this area.
One event will be held in Wellington on Tuesday, Sept. 12th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Sumner Workforce Center. The other job fair is Monday, Sept. 25th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Cowley Workforce Center in Winfield. The following positions are available:
Machinists – 1st and 2nd ALT shift available (Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12hr.)
CNC – Requirements include a previous work history of two years or more 3-5 axis machining.
Material Handler – 1st shift
CDL class A license required
Transport/load/unload goods to/from customers/suppliers
Assists with shipping/handling – Prefer experience with aerospace parts
Quality Inspector – 2nd shift
Verify configuration/acceptability of machined/formed product using precision tools
Ability to review blueprints/specs to determine acceptance criteria
Prefer FAI experience
Must have 1 yr. experience
