A special meeting has been called by the South Central Kansas Medical Center board of trustees.
Trustees for the Ark City hospital will meet at 7:30 Thursday morning in the hospital’s Outpatient Services Building. The board plans to go immediately into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel and attorney-client privileged information.
Executive sessions are closed to the public. Hospital officials did not elaborate as to what specifically will be discussed or if binding action would be taken once the closed-door session concludes.
Ark City commissioners have a study session planned for noon Friday in the city manager’s office at city hall.
The hospital’s finances are the topic of discussion for the study session.
