Winfield police and fire investigators believe a fire at a local home late Saturday was intentionally set.
Just after 11 p.m. that day, fire crews were called to a blaze at 1810 Frankfort. No injuries were reported.
The fire was under control within 15 to 20 minutes, according to information from the scene.
Peter Rowley, with the Winfield Fire Dept., said the fire remains under investigation. The fire department is waiting on information from an insurance company before putting a dollar amount to the damage that was done.
Cowley County land records show the home is owned by Albright Rentals LLC.
