Anjelika Johnson of Winfield was arrested on a Probation Violation and booked into the Cowley County Jail.

Deputy responded to the 10,000 block 286th Rd. for a report of Harassment by Telephone.

January 18

Deputy took a report of the theft of a Bobcat skid steer.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to C4 School to assist staff with a juvenile. The parents of the juvenile were contacted and the problem was resolved.

Deputy assisted a motorist in the 22000 block 85th Road.

Deputy responded to the 5000 block of 2nd Rd to check the welfare of a juvenile male. His mother had been trying to call him and couldn’t get hold of him. Deputy found the child to be fine.

Animal was removed from the roadway.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a non-injury accident in the 7000 Blk of US 77. A silver 1997 Ford Expedition driven by Rene Martinez was towing a red 2007 Dodge Caliber being operated by Maria Orona. Orona overtook the Expedition and hit the back of it.

Pedestrian walking along the 26000 Blk of US 77 was checked on.
