Cowley County Sheriff’s Record for March 6, 2018

Deputies responded to 33rd Rd. and Viscaya for a deer stuck in a fence. Deer was released from the fence.

Car vs. deer in the 2000 block US 77 Highway.

Deputy responded to 62nd Rd and 111th Rd for a report of a vehicle sitting in the roadway. The vehicle left the area before deputys’ arrival.

Depuies responded to the 12000 block 32nd Rd. for a deer stuck in a fence. The deer was put down and removed.

Deputies responded to 151st Rd and US 160 Hwy for a report of a reckless driver. Nobody was found in the area.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 25000 block 71st Road. Everything was found to be okay.

Seth William Fultz of Winfield was arrested on a warrant for Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Damage to Property.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 15000 Blk of 21st Rd for a stolen vehicle report. William Wilson reported his 2001 bronze colored Dodge Ram 2500 had been stolen from his front yard. The theft occurred sometime between 03-05-18 at 8:00 p.m. and 03-06-18 at 4:40 p.m. Wilson reported the vehicle was locked and the keys were not in the vehicle.

Deputy responded to a non-injury car/deer accident in the 10000 Blk of US 77 Hwy. Ray Kelley was driving a silver 2017 Honda Civic south on US 77 when he struck a deer in the roadway.

Report of a sign down in the 20000 21st Rd. Road and Bridge Dept. were notified.
