Owners of Country Mart in Arkansas City are making plans to close the store, which has been in operation since 1995.
The grocery store, located at 616 N. Summit in Ark City, is owned by Russell and Patty Clark. Through Facebook, Patty Clark told customers she would issue a public statement on Tuesday.
A manager at Country Mart confirmed the store would be closing but said no other information would be immediately provided.
No date has been given thus far in regard to a final day of operation.
