Cowley County Sheriff’s Record for March 28, 2018

Atlanta Fire and Deputies responded to the 18000 block of 32nd RD for a one vehicle injury accident.

Deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of US 77 HWY for a possible rolling domestic. Vehicle was later located in Arkansas City and driver was arrested by ACPD for an unrelated warrant.

Deputy assisted ACPD with a follow up call in the Southern portion of the county. Drug volation was discovered at the address.

Deputy was dispatched to the 23000 block of 212th RD for an alarm call. Contact was made with employee.

Deputy was dispatched to the 11000 block of 132nd RD for a report of cows out.

Deputy was dispatched to the Northern portion of the county for electronic harassment.

Winfield EMS and Deputies responded to the 15000 block of 121st RD for a single vehicle injury accident.

Deputy was dispatched to the 21000 block of 85th RD for an injuried animal.

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to questions about license plates.

Deputy responded to reckless driving in the 18000 BLK of 256th RD. It was reported that a black SUV had tried to run the reporting party off the road.

An individual called reference to a neighbor’s dog harassing his goats in the 12000 BLK of 21st RD.

Civil dispute regarding property in the 16000 BLK of 121st RD.

Deputy served a civil process paper in the 100 BLK of Indiana ST. when he noticed the odor of marijuana coming from a residence. Contact was made with the residence and a report was generated.

Possible drunk driver reported driving a dark colored Ram pick-up in the Ark City Bypass area. The vehicle was not located.

Cowley County Deputy responded to the 25000 BLK of 151st DR. for trespassing. The vehicle was located and contact was made with the individuals.

Deputy responded to the 7000 BLK of 248th RD for found property. The residence had located a backpack in the yard. The backpack
contained drug paraphernalia. A bag of marijuana was also located in the same area by the Deputy. It was collected to be destroyed.

A disturbance was reported between family members in the 400 BLK of Spruce ST in Atlanta. The individuals separated for the night.
