April 6

Deputy was dispatched to the 15000 block of 101st RD for a report of an injured deer.

Deputy assisted with a Funeral escort

Deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of US 77 HWY for a burglary report.

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a traffic complaint in the 2000 block of 11th RD.

Deputy was dispatched to the 4000 block of 2nd RD for a fraud report.

Deputy was dispatched to the 14000 block of 111th RD for a trash dumping complaint.

Deputy was dispatched to the 2000 block of US 160 HWY for debris in the roadway.

Deputies were dispatched to an alarm call in the 4000 block of 42nd RD.

Deputy checked a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway in the 31000 BLK of US 77 HWY.

Report was taken for harassment in the 23000 BLK of US 77 HWY.

Non-injury accident in the 33000 BLK of US 77 HWY. Isaac Castro was traveling southbound in a black 2002, Ford Mustang when he lost control of his vehicle. He slid off the road and hit a tree.

Cowley County Deputies responded to an injury accident in the 33000 BLK of US 77 HWY. Ryan Myers was driving a white 1964, Chevy pick-up southbound when he hydroplaned and lost control causing his pick-up to roll. Jose Bedolla was a passenger at the time.

April 7

Deputies assisted the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office in responding to an unknown accident just west of the county line on US 166 HWY. The accident was called in by a 3rd party who had found a roll-over accident. When EMS and Deputies arrived the vehicle was unoccupied. Driver was later located at their home in Newkirk, Oklahoma. An accident report was made by Sumner County.

Deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of 71st RD for a single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported

Deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of 312th RD for a vehicle in the roadway. Owner was contacted and vehicle will be removed.

Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle in the 7000 block of 202nd RD. No assistance needed.

Deputy assisted with a funeral escort

Deputy was dispatched to the 12000 block of 101st RD for an animal complaint.

Deputy served a PFA in the 800 block of E 14th

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to damage to property.

Deputy assisted ACPD with an alarm call in the 3000 block of N Summit.

Deputy dispatched to Cowley Cinema 8 for a hit and run report.

Deputy dispatched to Cowley Cinema 8 for a medical call.

Winfield EMS, Deputies and KHP responded to the 13000 block of US 77 HWY for a two vehicle injury accident.

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to harassment.

Report of suspicious activity in the 7000 BLK of 244th RD. Caller advised she came home to find her outdoor faucet running.

Reckless drivers reported in the 23000 BLK of US 77 HWY. Vehicles were located and their driving issues were discussed with them.

Suspicious activity in the 26000 BLK of 41st RD. The resident reported seeing someone outside near her vehicle with a flashlight. The individual was not located.

Reckless driver was reported in the 18000 BLK of Country Club Rd in the Winfield area. Vehicle was described as a white Mustang. Vehicle was not located.

April 8

Deputy responded to 2700 BLK of Birch for a large firework being shot into a neighbor’s yard by an unknown person. No one was found in the area.

Vehicle was checked that was left in a parking area at Murk’s Corner 11000 BLK of 141st RD.

Cowley County Deputies assisted the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office with a possible suicidal subject in the 200 BLK of 2nd St.

Butler County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a battery report that occurred in Cowley County

Deputy stopped to check a vehicle on K360. Driver did not need assistance

Subject from hit and run report on 04/07/2018 called and advised the accident occurred in another county and did not need a report from the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy was dispatched to the 21000 block of 131st RD for cows out. Owner was contacted.

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to suspicious
activity in the 4000 block of Meadowbrook LN.

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to an eviction in the 15000 block of 103rd LN.

Sumner County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with transporting a subject to Winfield.

Christopher Joesph Meyer was stopped for a traffic infraction in the 1900 BLK of 9th AVE. He was found to be driving while suspended and was arrested.

Reckless driver reported in the 11000 BLK of 111th RD. Vehicle was reported as a gold Honda. The vehicle was not located.

A cow was reported out on the roadway in the 14000 BLK of 232nd RD. Cow was located by the owner and collected.

April 9

Motorist’s assist in the 10000 BLK of US 166 HWY.

Cowley County Deputies assisted the Derby Police Department in a pursuit in the 2000 BLK of K-15 HWY. The driver came to a stop in the 6000 BLK of US 77 HWY. Vehicle was found to be stolen and the driver was taken into custody by the Derby Police Department.
