The Cowley County Appraiser’s Office will be conducting their annual 17-percent reinspection in the entire area east of 181st road.
Appraiser staff are starting in the north east corner and will be working their way down to the southern border of the county, including the towns of Atlanta, Burden, Cambridge, Dexter, according to a information released CowleyCounty.org.
Staff are working in the Atlanta area and will be moving to Cambridge and then Burden.
“If you see our people in and around your property please do not hesitate to contact them and discuss anything you feel may be overlooked that would be pertinent to the valuing of your property,” the statement on the site explained.
A green card will be left at every property that has a home to let residents know someone was there.
Contact the appraiser’s office if you have any concerns or just fill out and return the green card so county staff can be sure to have the correct data.
