The Arkansas City Police Department arrested a local man Thursday for violating Cowley County District Court bond conditions.
Michael Kevin Shine, 33, was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in Winfield with no bond.
Shine previously had been arrested June 19 on suspicion of battery-domestic violence. Part of his bond conditions in that case was to have no contact with the alleged victim, an Arkansas City female.
Officers made contact Thursday with Shine in the 900 block of Wingate. They observed Shine in contact with the alleged female victim in the prior case.
He was taken into custody without incident for violating the conditions of his bond in that case.
