Isle of Lights In Winfield Has Announced Set-Up Schedules

Set up for the Winfield Isle of Lights has been announced, including an extra day due to demand, according to the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce Tuesday.

The traditional set-up day has been scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13 starting at 8 a.m. Lunch will be provided by Ranch House Catering.

A second set-up day has been scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 11 from 1 to 5 pm. The chamber said many clubs, groups, churches, and teams have expressed interest in volunteering in the past, but because of work or school schedules they have not been able to participate during the traditional setup day.

No experience is necessary to volunteer and new volunteers will be paired with experienced ones. A few basic tools are helpful, but not necessary: needle nose pliers, an adjustable an open end or ratchet wrench (1/2 in and 9/16 in), a hammer or mallet and work gloves. Dress for the weather, layers works best as the day usually warms up a bit. Those interested in volunteering can now sign up for shifts online. A link to sign up is available at www.isleoflights.org.

Isle of Lights is completely non-profit. All donations go back into new displays and supplies.
