Traffic Stop Leads To Warrant Arrests; Four Are Taken To Jail

Four people were arrested Friday during a traffic stop after it was discovered several passengers in the vehicle were found to have warrants.

According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, Rebecca Reid, 22, of Winfield, was stopped in the 12000 block of 71st road for a traffic infraction. She was arrested for expired license — her third such offense.

Christopher Montgomery, 35, of Winfield, was arrested for parole violation and interference, along with 21-year-old Tristan Graves and 27-year-old Travis Bergman, both of Winfield. Graves was arrested for failure to appear and parole violation and Bergman was also arrested for parole violation.

Montgomery has drug convictions dating back to 2014 in Cowley County.

In March, Bergman was sentenced for fleeing and eluding law enforcement and theft. He also has a drug conviction from 2014.
