Larry McCullough, 60, of Wellington, Kan., passed away Monday, June 10, 2019, at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita.
Larry was born the son of Troy and Darlene (Weyer) McCullough on Sunday, March 22, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas.
Larry married Debbie Crow in June of 1979 and to this union two sons were born: Dennis and Rusty McCullough. He later married Lorie Jo Lacey on February 14, 1991 in Winfield, Kansas. Together they celebrated 28 years of marriage. Larry was a hard working man. He managed a 25+ year career at Wellington Quailty Meats but also worked on the farm and caring for his animals. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife, Lorie McCullough of Wellington, Kansas; son, Rusty McCullough and his wife Kim of Burden, Kansas; son, Dennis McCullough and his wife Michelle of Winfield, Kansas; brother, Allen McCullough and his wife Pat of Texas; brother, Anthony McCullough and his wife Wanda of Winfield, Kansas; sister, Audrey Feaster and her husband Greg of Winfield, Kansas; sister, Linda Laudey and her husband Brad of Wakarusa, Kansas; grandchildren: Isaiah McCullough, KyLeigh McCullough, Annlee McCullough, Alan McCullough and mother, Darlene Cotton of Winfield, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Troy McCullough and a nephew, T.J. McCullough.
Memorial services for Larry will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Cornejo|Day Funeral Home in Wellington, Kansas.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established in his loving memory to the Via Christi Foundation, 3600 E. Harry, Wichita, Kansas 67218. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home.
