HELP WANTED: Cowley County Job Fair Set For March 4

Cowley First will be hosting its annual Cowley County Job Fair on Wednesday, March 4, at the Ag Building in Ark City at 712 W. Washington from 3-5:30 p.m.

According to a press release, 27 local businesses will be offering a wide variety of positions including manufacturing, education, food service, finance, government, law enforcement, healthcare, hospitality, and everything in between.

Employers will be meeting job seekers and accepting resumes and applications at the event. Job seekers are encouraged to attend and come dressed to impress. Free resume assistance will also be provided onsite by the Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas and the KansasWORKS Mobile Unit.

You will also be able to register with KansasWORKS for online job search assistance.

Capper Foundation, City of Arkansas, City, City of Winfield, Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, Cowley County Special Services Cooperative, Cowley County/Clerk, Creekstone Farms, Farm Bureau Financial Services, Four County Mental Health Center, Galaxy Technologies, Kansas Veteran’s Home, Lifestyle Staffing/Rubbermaid, Mahaney Group, Manpower, Mosaic, Presbyterian Manor, ResCare KS Central-Winfield, S & Y Industries, Senior Employment Services of Wichita, South Central KS Medical Center, The Arnold Group, USD 470, Vector Tooling Tech, Western Industries, Winfield Police Department, Winfield Rest Haven, Winfield USD 465.

During the job fair, attendees may visit with Cowley College about training and educational programs offered locally.

In addition ORION, Kansas National Guard, Senior Employment Program South Central Kansas representatives will be participating at the job fair to discuss other services that are available.
