To ensure the safety of its participants, the Cowley College Golden Tigers program has decided to cancel the upcoming fall semester, according to a news release from Cowley College Thursday.
The program hopes to return with classes and trips in the spring.
The Golden Tigers program is offered to community members who are at least 50 years of age or who are fully retired. The program provides educational opportunities that promote social, spiritual, artistic, and physical enrichment to its members through classes, day trips, and workshops deemed of interest to members.
Golden Tiger activities allow participants to remain active, meet new people, expand their horizons, participate in exciting courses, explore new skills, develop new interests, exchange ideas, keep current on relevant issues, make connections, travel to interesting sites, and most of all have fun.
