ACHS Ag Ed Program Receives State, National Recognition

The Arkansas City High School Agriculture Education program was recognized as the National Association of Agriculture Educators Outstanding Program of the Year, according to a news release from USD 470 this week.

“This is a great honor that is much deserved by each of our ag teachers (Josie Reilly, Jacob Sumpter, and Kasie Bogart) and all their students who work so hard to make great things happen in the program, school, and community,” the school district stated.

In addition to the program award, Bogart was recognized with several awards.

She was named the Kansas Association for Career & Technical Education Teacher of the Year and Teacher in Community Service. 

Bogart was also awarded Outstanding Teacher by the National Association of Agriculture Educators.
