The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a semi truck fire Monday evening east of Winfield.
According to the sheriff’s office activity report released on Tuesday, deputies responded to the 13000 block of U.S. 160 east of Tisdale United Methodist Church for the report of a semi on fire.
When deputies arrived, the semi was fully involved and the highway was closed for approximately an hour.
No injuries were reported.
