ACPD Investigating Shots Fired At Vehicle And Residence; No Injuries Reported

The Arkansas City Police Department is investigating a shooting incident early Tuesday morning in southwest Ark City, with no injuries reported after.

According to a news release from the ACPD, officers were dispatched just prior to noon Tuesday to the 1700 block of South Fourth Street for a report of damage from gunshots. The occupants discovered bullet holes in their vehicle and residence.

Through the course of the initial investigation, it was determined that shots had been fired at the residence and vehicle in what appears to be an intentional incident, according to police. A witness reported hearing gunshots sometime in the early morning hours. No injuries were reported or observed.
