Classic hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s can be found, beginning Friday, at FM 103.3 The Mixx. The new Ark City-based radio station is owned and operated by Cowley County Broadcasting.
The Mixx will be available both at FM 103.3 and AM 1280. In addition to music, the Mixx will broadcast news, weather and sports, including Kansas City Royals baseball and Ark City Bulldog athletics.
“We think this format will be a lot of fun and play a variety of music that appeals to a variety of people,” Marty Mutti, co-owner of Cowley County Broadcasting, said. “We hope you’ll give us a try over the Labor Day holiday and become a fan of The Mixx 103.3.”
The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, and The Beatles are just a few of the artists you will hear each day at 103.3. Online streaming of the new station is available free of charge at KSOKRadio.com.
The Mixx 103.3 becomes the latest content offering from Cowley County Broadcasting, which is also home to KSOK 95.9 FM, Your Hometown Radio Station playing today’s best country. Radio personalities Marty Mutti, News Director Shane Farley and Derek Dresback will all have regular shows on the new station, in addition to their shows found on KSOK.
KSOK 95.9 is also streamed live at KSOKRadio.com. Cowley County Broadcasting is located at 334 E. Radio Lane.
