February 17

Report of cattle in the roadway in the 10000 block of US 77

Check welfare of an individual walking in the area of Country Club Road in Parkerfield

Motorist assist in the 5000 block of US 166

Animals in the roadway in the 4000 block of 252nd Road

Check welfare of an individual walking in the 16000 block of US 77

Report of a disturbance in the 200 block of 9th Avenue.  Sheriff’s Deputy checked the area and did not observe any altercations

Request for assistance by the Kansas Highway Patrol in the 2600 block of US 77

Check of a vehicle south of Udall

February 18

Check of a car alarm in the 21000 block of 71st Road

Report of criminal damage to property in the 10000 block of 171st Road.  Damaged were several mailboxes

Hit and Run Motor vehicle accident.  At approximately 9:35 AM Janet Craig, of Winfield, was driving south on US 77 in the 14000 block and was struck from behind by a gray Sports Utility Vehicle.  Craig’s Red 2002, Ford Truck received minor damage to the rear bumper.  The suspect vehicle may have damage to the front end.

Car versus deer motor vehicle accident report

Citizen reported a possible disturbance in the 800 block of Alexander Street in Winfield.  Deputy checked the area and did not observe any disturbance

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an alleged trespassing call in the 19000 block of 121st Road.  Upon investigation the individuals had permission to be on the property.

Report of a reckless driver in the area of 9th and Main Street in Winfield.  Vehicle was located and a deputy stopped it.  No signs of intoxication and the driver was released

Motorist assist in the 22000 block of K15

February 19

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office requested a deputy check the area of the 17000 block of 42nd Road for a wrecked vehicle, from an accident they were working in their county.  No other vehicles were located

Deputy was dispatched to the 21000 block of 172nd Road for an individual who had discovered vehicle parts, at that location, that he believed belonged to a stolen vehicle he had reported to the Winfield Police Department

Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the area of the 13000 block of Tower Road for a disturbance

Motorist assist in the area of 202nd and 131st roads

Criminal Damage to property report in the 32000 block of 31st Road.  Victim reported that an individual threw a rock through their car window.  The case is still under investigation.

Assist with a medical call in the 33000 block of Tower Road 6:07 PM

Accidental 911 call in the 13000 block of 71st Road

Welfare check in the 3000 block of 112th Road

Business alarm in the 7000 block of 222nd Road

Accidental 911 call in the 32000 block of Byrd Street

Criminal Restraint case filed in the 31000 block of 61st Road

Suspicious person reported in the 29000 block of 97th Road

Criminal Damage to Property report in the 100 block of Main Street in Dexter.  Damaged was a welcome sign belonging to the City of Dexter

Citizen in the 6000 block of Lindberg Avenue spoke to a Sheriff’s Deputy in reference to a neighbor’s trees.  It was determined to be a civil issue

Report of a suspicious person driving by a residence in the 8000 block of 86th Road

Report of cattle in the roadway in the area of 212th and 131st Roads

Citizen reported a reckless driver in the area of the 22000 block of US 77

Citizen requested to speak with a Sheriff’s Deputy in reference to an on-going domestic case

Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with a driver in the 22000 block of US 77 in reference to their driving habits, from an earlier call

Cattle in the roadway in the area of 131st and 212th Roads

Citizen reported a suspicious individual behind their barn in the 33000 block of 61st Road

Cattle in the roadway in the 16000 block of 201st Road

Motorist assist in the 20000 block of US 77

Car versus deer motor vehicle accident in the 23000 block of K15

Check welfare in the 15000 block of 182nd. Deputy made contact and everything was okay

Report of possible trespassing in the area of 71st and 12th Road.  Sheriff’s Deputy checked the area and the person was no longer There

Motorist assist in the 11000 block of US 77

February 21

Alarm call in the 7000 block of 222nd Road

Sheriff’s Deputy towed a vehicle that was unoccupied and in the roadway at 21st and 72nd Roads
