Traffic sign down in the area of the 16000 block of 51st Road

Cattle in the roadway near the intersection of 92nd and 111th Road

Report of a stolen vehicle tag from the  5100 block of 272nd Road

Animal welfare check in the 19000 block of 168th Drive

Reckless driver in the area of US 166 and 345th Road

Grass fire reported in the 2700 block of E. 19th Avenue.  Determined to be a stationary vehicle on fire

A white 2004, GMC Yukon, driven by Belinda Wilmoth, 39 years old of Winfield, pulled onto US 77, from Quail Ridge Road, in front of a white 1995, Ford Escort, driven by Lane Burr, 19 years old of Arkansas City, who was traveling North on US 77.  Wilmoth’s vehicle was struck by Burr’s vehicle.  Transported to William Newton Hospital, by EMS, was Ryan Burr and a passenger in Burr’s vehicle, 19 year old Hailey Holmes of Winfield.  A minor child in Burr’s vehicle was uninjured.  Four minor children in Wilmoth’s vehicle were uninjured.  Wilmoth was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Reckless driver reported in the 1000 block of US 166

Cowley County Sheriff’s Office Jail inmate transported to William Newton Hospital for high blood pressure.  Inmate later transported back to the jail.
