Matthew E. Bigley, 22, Ark City, suffered minor injuries last night in a rollover accident that occurred in Cowley County on U.S. 77 highway just north of Rock.
Just after 6 p.m. Thursday, Bigley was northbound in his 1995 Honda Accord when he approached a curve at a high rate of speed and left the roadway, according to authorities.
His vehicle rolled multiple times and ended up in a ditch.
Bigley, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to the hospital in Winfield, where he was treated and released a short time later.
Authorities are investigating whether alcohol played a role in the accident, Cowley County undersheriff Bill Mueller said.
The accident occurred just south of the Butler and Cowley County line.
