Police in Winfield have taken possession of two counterfeit bills said to have been used at local businesses recently.

The fifty and one hundred dollar bills are pictured above. Investigators are also looking for three white males and a white female in connection with the case.

The group was believed to be traveling in a white Dodge van with what were likely out-of-state temporary tags, police chief Danny Parker said. No further details have been released, so far.

An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
