UPDATE: 3:15 p.m. - Daniel Clark has been arrested and is in jail with bond set at $6,250.
Ark City police are searching for a suspect in an incident Wednesday evening that resulted in another local man being wounded.
Authorities said 27-year-old Daniel Clark of Ark City is being sought in connection with the investigation. He could face charges that include aggravated battery and disorderly conduct.
He remained at large this morning and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Ark City Police Dept. or CrimeStoppers at 441-7777.
Around 6:30 p.m., officers were sent to South Central Kansas Medical Center for a report of a man who had been stabbed. Officers learned the alleged victim had actually gone to the hospital in Winfield.
The man told investigators he was outside a residence in the 1100 block of North A in Ark City when he was approached by a man, said to be Clark.
There was said to have been an altercation between Clark and a 28-year-old woman that was also at the residence.
The woman was pushed against the front door of the residence and fell. The 43-year old man then became involved in the altercation and suffered a laceration to his left forearm.
The woman was not injured and Clark left the residence prior to police arriving.
Clark is a previously convicted felon under the supervision of community corrections, according to the state Dept. of Corrections.
