Man with gun robs Wellington Subway Wed.

On Wednesday, shortly after 9:30 p.m. the Wellington Subway Restaurant at 715 North G Street was robbed.

An unknown male walked into Subway, brandished a pistol and ordered the clerk to hand over the cash from the register.

The robber is described as a white male, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 to 200 pounds. His head was shaved. He had no facial hair and was wearing dark rimmed eyeglasses.

The suspect was dressed in blue jeans, dark colored sports jacket wearing a black baseball style cap with an unknown logo. He was carrying a dark colored bag. The pistol was described as a small black colored semi automatic.

The robber made off with about $500 cash. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
