Authorities said a woman found driving in the wrong lane Sunday could also face charges for biting an officer attempting to arrest her.

Annie L. Jett, 22, Ark City, was pulled over in the 23000 block of 85th Rd. when Cowley County deputies saw her drive left of center and enter the other lane. Testing determined Jett to be under the influence and thatís when she became combative, according to a report.

She bit an assisting officer before being placed in restraints and transported to jail. She faces charges of DUI, battery on a law enforcement officer, interference with law enforcement and refusing a chemical test. Her bond was set at $6,000, she posted it and was later released. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m.
