Caught with pot: Ark City man arrested Sun.

A police investigation late Saturday led to the arrest of an Ark City man who could face charges for selling and possessing pot.

Justin D. Mangrum, 20, was booked into the Cowley County Jail early Sunday morning. Charges at the time of booking included possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug-sale paraphernalia, possession of pot, no drug tax stamp and possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

His bond was set at $13,300 and he remained in jail Monday morning.

The investigation began around 11 p.m. at a residence in the 1000 block of North C, according to police logs.

Patrick Lecounte, 19, Ark City, was booked on pot and paraphernalia possession charges.

He posted $2,000 bond and was released.
