Those looking for help signing up for health insurance through the new federal online marketplace, can meet with grant-funded navigators next week in Ark City and Winfield.
Navigators from Via Christi Hospital in Wichita will meet with anyone needing assistance from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Winfield Public Library and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the library in Ark City.
No appointments are necessary and those attending will be met on a first come, first served basis.
The health insurance online marketplace has been established as part of the Affordable Care Act. New federal healthcare laws will soon require most Americans to have health insurance.
Glitches with the federal web site healthcare.gov have made it more difficult for customers to arrange the purchase of health insurance plans.
Contact either library for additional information about the events.
