A Winfield woman was taken to a local hospital Tuesday after wrecking her car on K-15, a Cowley County Sheriff’s Office report said Wednesday.
Kayoko Harper told deputies she reached down to grab a map book off the floor and lost control of her vehicle just east of 61st Road. Harper’s 2002 Volvo struck a guardrail, causing more than $1,000 in damages the report said.
