Cowley College’s Sumner Campus in Wellington continues to take shape and is preparing for an Open House event on Saturday, April 27 to celebrate the opening of the Short General Education Center.
The Sumner Campus Short General Education Center will begin offering general education classes in the fall of 2019.
Cowley College celebrated the opening of the Sumner Campus Technology and Innovation Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on August 9, 2018.
The Sumner Campus Technology and Innovation Center offers programs of study in manufacturing, agricultural studies, computer science and information technology, and general educational development.
In Nov. 2016, Sumner County voters approved the passage of a half-cent county sales tax to fund construction of the building.
