A computer contractor doing work for the city of Winfield was hospitalized Monday after suffering a medical episode while on the job.
An ambulance arrived at Winfield City Hall, 200 E. Ninth, to transport the man to the hospital, according to a city spokesperson. The man, whose name was not released, is from New Mexico.
The spokesperson said the man suffered a seizure-like attack and had a medical condition. Details of the incident could not be released because of issues regarding privacy.
The man was working on a project for Sleuth Software, which provides record and filing software for law enforcement agencies. He was expected to be released from the hospital Tuesday.
