Cowley, Butler, and Elk counties are under a flood warning until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Between one and one-half to two inches of rain fell across Cowley County Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Additional rainfall of up to one and one-half inches is possible.
A flood watch remains in effect across central Kansas through Thursday.
