The Cowley County Treasurer’s Office is offering to help flood victims who may need duplicate titles and registrations.
The service is similar to help provided victims of the Greensburg tornado. Duplicate titles and vehicle registrations were not only offered but delivered to the tornado victims at no cost, said Cowley County Treasurer Kathy Foust.
She has talked with state Department of Revenue officials who will make an extra effort to get the information returned as quickly as possible.
A number of residents had flooded basements and some may have stored records in those basements. Prior year tax information documents may also be duplicated if requested, Foust said.
A request for duplicate titles and registrations will require a signature so a visit to the office at the County Courthouse will be necessary.

The office will be closed for the holiday on Wednesday but will be open Thursday and Friday.
