Cowley County Sheriff Bob Odell is out of the hospital and doing fine today, he told a NewsCow reporter.
“Everything’s good,” Odell said.
Odell was taken to the Kansas Heart Hospital, NewsCow reported on Tuesday. The sheriff said he had suffered chest pains after working in a hot attic.
“I just sweated too much too fast,” he said.
At the hospital doctors discovered an 80 percent blockage and installed a stent. He was released from the hospital yesterday and was in good spirits as he returned phone calls from his office.
