Ark City police for Sept. 19 and Sept. 20

Arkansas City Police Department Activities for Wednesday, Sept. 19 and Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 included:

* Jim Hendershot and Rachael Noll, both of Ark City, were involved in a traffic accident at Eighth Street and Radio Lane.

* Sarah Martin, Ark City, was the victim of theft in the 1200 block of Radio Lane.

* James McNinch, Ark City, was the victim of burglary to his residence in the 1000 block of N. Fifth Street.

* Lashauna Woodward, Ark City, was the victim of disorderly conduct in the 200 block of S. Eighth Street.

* Opal Walin, Ark City, was the victim of a hit and run in the 500 block of N. Third Street.

* John Treaster, Ark City, was arrested on a suspended driver’s license in the 3300 block of N. Second Street.

* Robert Perin, Ark City, was the victim of battery in the 500 block of W. Maple Avenue. Lawrence Scruggs, Ark City, was arrested in connection with the incident.

* Lauren Sandman, Ark City, was arrested for a drug law violation in the 100 block of N. Fourth Street.

THURSDAY

* Jim Chambers, Ark City, was the victim of theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of N. D Street.

* Tina McNinch, Ark City, was arrested on a bench warrant at 117 W. Central Ave.

* SBC was the victim of a hit and run in the 600 block of W. Madison Avenue.

* Jason Brumley, Ark City, was arrested for obstructing justice, fleeing and eluding police, transporting an open bottle and a bench warrant. Brandon Thompson, Ark City, was arrested for transporting an open bottle.

* Robin Derringer, Ark City, was the victim of residential burglary in the 1000 block of N. Fourth Street.

* Darryl Sandborn, Ark City, was the victim of battery in the 1200 block of S. H Street.

* Diana Grant, Ponca City, Okla., was arrested for driving under the influence and on a municipal bench warrant.
