Cambridge man killed in wreck on I-35 Sat.

A 55-year-old Cambridge man was killed early Saturday morning in a one-car accident near McPherson, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Michael Buckley was traveling on I-35 about 12 miles south of McPherson when the accident occurred at 3:33 a.m.

The patrol reported that Buckley’s 1989 Ford Probe entered the median and vaulted off of the interstate onto 22nd Avenue below the highway. The report does not indicate what might have caused the car to enter the median.

Buckley was transported to St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff, the patrol reported.
