A Cedar Vale woman was injured when her van and a deer collided east of Arkansas City Thursday evening.
Lynda Ellen Parks, 44, was taken by ambulance to South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center in Ark City where she was treated and then released, according to a hospital spokesman.
She was headed east on U.S. 166 when she struck the deer near Cowley 1, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
