An Arkansas City woman was injured in a nearly head-on collision south of Ark City Thursday Night.
Kelly Meeks, 26, was a passenger in one of the two cars involved in the accident. She was transported to South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center by Ark City ambulance. A spokesman at the medical center said she was treated and then released.
The accident occurred at 7:30 p.m. on U.S. 77. three-fourth of a mile south of the state line. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated the accident but the names of the drivers of the cars were not available this morning.
