Two Arkansas City men were arrested for possession of marijuana April 4 after their vehicle was stopped at 12:35 a.m. in the 300 block of N. A Street for an equipment violation, the Ark City Police Department reported.
The officer was visiting with Tyler Cole Smith, 22, and Ryan Oliver Douglas, 21, when he observed a knife wedged in the seat by the driver. The owner of the vehicle consented to a search and during the search two baggies of marijuana were located. Both men were arrested.
