Three local students named to SC society

Southwestern College recognized the newest members of the order of the Mound May 4. The induction was part of Commencement ceremonies.

Winfield inductees were Craig Isom, Angelette Bean, and Susan Hogue.

Presiding over the ceremony were Southwestern College Board of Trustees Chair Larry Eason, Claudia Geer, chair of the social science department at SC, Jennifer Muret-Bate, vice president of the Order of the Mound, and Michelle Boucher, associate professor of English.

The Order of the Mound is the official honor society for Southwestern College.

To qualify for induction, students must be in the top 10 percent of all graduates who have completed at least 60 hours or more at SC.
