A preliminary hearing has been continued until July 22 for a 33-year-old Winfield man charged with two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.
Cyril Isaac Pappan remains in the Cowley County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
He lived in the area where the two seven-year-old victims lived. The incidents occurred in April.
The crime is classified as a person felony and punishable with a prison sentence ranging from 31 months to 136 months. Sentences can be made to run consecutive or concurrently.
