Arkansas City police for Oct. 9 through Oct. 11

Arkansas City Police Activity for Thursday, Oct. 9, Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 included:

Oct. 9

Justin Kellogg, Ark City, was arrested on an outside warrant.

Horacio M. Hernandez, Ark City, was arrested on an outside warrant.

Marcia Chambers, Geuda Springs, and Nancy Haas and Kimberly Befort, both of Ark City, and Rosann Meier, Winfield, were victims of criminal damage to property at 1201 N. 10th St. A juvenile was arrested in connection.

Kerri M. Schiffelbein, Ark City, was the victim of a hit and run in the 1600 block of S. Summit Street.

Jimmy Squires, Ark City, Molly Jackson, Dexter, and Curtis Herrod Jr., Ark City were involved in a traffic accident at 2701 N. Summit St.

Kyle Nelson, Ark City, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Third Street and Maple Avenue.

Kenneth W. Elston, Ark City, was arrested on a bench warrant.

Oct. 10

Erica Carr and Anna Miley, both of Ark City, were involved in a non-injury accident in the 2100 block of N. Summit Street.

Patsy Sweely, Ark City, and an unknown person were involved in a non-injury accident in the 1200 block of N. D Street.

Debra Richardson, Ark City, was the victim of a car-deer accident.

Beatrice Ward, Winfield, and Allison Mahiew, Dodge City, were involved in a no-injury accident in the 1500 block of N. Summit Street.

Oct. 11

Israel Hernandez, Ark City, was arrested for eluding police, leaving scene of accident and failing to report an accident in the 600 block of N. Fourth St.

Courtney Demaree, Ark City, was arrested on a bench warrant.
