Atlanta and Cambridge are completely without power due to ice storms that hit the area Friday and early Saturday, according to emergency management director Brian Stone. Emergency shelters will open if there is a need.
In Atlanta, residents need to call 229-4179 or 620-394-2415 to let emergency management officials know if there is a need for shelter. In Cambridge, the fire department has a generator and is set up to provide a warm place for residents who need it.
In Cambridge, residents can call 620-467-4111.
Stone said the shelters will be open and stay open based on demand.
