Cowley County Sheriff report for June 25, 2009

Cowley County Sheriff’s activity for June 26 included:

JUNE 25

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jacob Christopher Bonnell, 33. He was transported to and booked in the Cowley County Jail on a District Court warrant for failure to appear.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 Block of 252nd Road for an animal welfare check involving a horse.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 500 Block of Spruce for an animal welfare check involving dogs.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 Block of U.S. 77 for a reckless driving complaint. Suspect vehicle was located and stopped for improper passing. The driver, Yassine Bensetti, 18, was arrested and transported to the Cowley County Jail and charged with no valid drivers license and cited for improper passing.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 5000 Block of 282nd Road for a report of battery.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 6000 Block of Beverly Drive for suspicious activity.

Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a curfew check in the 6000 Block of 22nd Road for Cowley County Drug Court.

Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a curfew check in the 300 Block of West First for Cowley County Drug Court.

Sheriff’s Deputies checked on a vehicle in the 7000 Block of U.S. 160. The tag was found to be stolen and the truck was towed.
