An autopsy has been ordered for a man who was found dead at Strother Field late Monday, according to Cowley County undersheriff Bill Mueller.
The man ? who is believed to have been in his 40s ? worked and lived in a mechanic’s shop at Strother that he owned with his brother. His brother had gone to dinner and returned to find the man deceased.
No names have been released publicly.
Mueller said there was nothing suspicious about the death based on a preliminary investigation but given the man’s young age a medical inquiry was ordered. The man is believed to have had heart problems and had complained of chest pains earlier in the day.
